The bridge between past and present
With the development of the economy, the buildings in the city also change a lot.More and more skyscrapers are being built. At the same time, the old buildings are fading in their glory. But at Ann Siang Hill street, near Red Dot Museum, the bungalows there are still an urban landscape. The owners of these building restored with great care, an old attic was removed and the existing jackroof was exposed to highlight the timber trusses. They change the interior spaces to suit contemporary functions and also add some modern materials which gives pastel and graceful shades to the building. When you see these beautiful bungalows now, just like a dialogue between past and present.
