Baroque Art plays a important role in 17th, 18th century.  In the visual arts, Baroque refers to a pan-European art style, which is often divided into successive phases of Early, High, and Late.  As we can see from the paintings below, Baroque paintings is characterised by an overwhelming richness of colour and solid forms that are assembled in dynamic compositions. All of these portraits are in strong contrasts of light and dark.  As for the still life painting(6),  set against a darkened background, this still life is a vibrant study in visual contrast. The superb technical of the painter can be seen from the details portrait.   I want learn something from these masterpieces,  use these technics in my drawing fundamental's still life work.
