Princely treasures (1)

Last week  I went to National Museum for the PRINCELY TREASURES from the house of Liechtenstein with my church friends. At first, I just want to have a look about the 18th, 19th century artworks, but after I entered the hall, I cannot keep calm anymore, the collections are so amazing.  I learned a lot from this exhibition.  At first, I was shocked by the "Liechtenstein summer palace".  When I stand in front of the painting, i have the privilege to over look the beautiful park with pavilions, terrance, fountains, large staircases, statuary and geometrically arranged gardens. I am interior design student, so when I see this artworks I always attractive by the innovative structures, how the architect arrange this space, make it special and harmony. Then the "Pietra Dura Ornate Chest" also impress me a lot.  The inspiration of this overall design is from Venetian furniture of the late 16th century.  The stonecutter used the nature shades of various stones to produce small, charming scenes on the panels, and look almost like paintings.
